Touch Not My Anointed
February 18, 2000
Dear People of God,
The Lord quickened these messages in my heart today and I am submitting
these for your prayer and discernment.
WHAT'S ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE:
God is about to effect a great turnover that will involved leaders and
ministries.
The Moses', Aaron's and Miriam's of this generations are slowly being
recalled by the Lord. And He is instructing them to get ready to pass over
the leadership to the Joshua's and the Caleb's from their camp. For the
latter ones are the people that God has chosen to led His church to cross
over our present Jordan and to claim the promise land. Along this process,
there will have to be a letting go of ministries and a stepping back that
will occurs coming from the ranks our present day Moses', Aaron's and
Miriam's. These turnover can take place voluntarily or through various
outward circumstances beyond the control of people.
WARNING TO BE VIGILANT:
Outwardly ministries will fall and rise up. Some will be retired and others
will be promoted. And this is where we need great vigilance. The enemy will
not waste time using these changes and turning them into personal issues
focusing on the negative things and stirring up speculations, questions and
presumptions.
GOD'S COMMAND TO US:
We the people of God as we see these things unveiling before us must always
seek to guard our mouth. We must not commit the sin of Noah's son Ham who
told his two brothers about his father's nakedness, but we must seek to
act
as Shem and Japheth who took a garment and laid it across their shoulders;
then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. (Genesis
9:22-23)
We must be careful not to touch God's anointed. David's understood God's
heart about this and he maintained his respect for Saul despites the
personal failures of the king. Let us leave our leaders into the hands of
God for His ways and His thoughts are higher than our ways.
GOD'S REMINDER TO US
The Lord places these verses in my heart as reminder of how we need to respond
as His children during these times.
JAMES 1:9-10, 2:12-13 ( AMPLIFIED BIBLE)
Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his elevation [ as a
Christian, called to the true riches and to be an heir of God]. And the rich
[ person ought to glory ] in being humbled [ by being shown his human
frailty ], because like the flower of the grass he will pass away.
So speak and so act as [ people should ] who are to be judged under the law
of liberty [ the moral instruction given by Christ, specially about love].
For to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [ will be ] merciless, but
mercy [ full of glad confidence ] exults victoriously over judgment.
May the Lord bless His word and confirms these in your hearts.
Blessings,
