The Church Putting on Their Secular Clothes

  January 13, 2000:

To the Living Church of God,
Many have been perceiving this year to be a year of
change. While standing in my watchtower, I began seeking
to understand how these changes will come.   During these
past days, I began to discern one area of change which
will be significant to many of God's children. This
understanding come to me in the form of a vision.

  THE VISION:

I saw a great number of people both men and
women and a tag was attached to them. I saw the words
  pastors, evangelists, teachers, prophets, apostles,
singers, ministry heads, etc all basically identifying
them as servants of the Most High. Then the Lord explain
to me that the group I saw are His children, both active
and those waiting to be released.   While watching them, I
notice that the clothes that they were wearing were being
changed from regular dress to working clothes. And I saw
many of them put on various clothes that reflects their
specific works. I saw some putting on aprons and the dress
of a chef, I saw some putting on carpenter's over-all.

  GETTING READY FOR WORK

I saw some putting on blue over-alls. I saw some putting on
suits like those worn by businessman and lawyers and
others working in office. I saw yet others putting on
office uniforms. As I watch them, I notice that most of
them were getting ready for work.   At this point, I was
puzzled because I have expected them to be standing before
men preaching, teaching and doing the things which are
directly identified with Christian service. But instead
many of them were getting ready to do work which I
considered as "secular" in nature.   At this point, the
Lord bring me back to the time of King Josiah and also of
Nehemiah. And the Lord began to instruct me to take note
of the events taking place at that time. And He asked me
if I notice what most people were doing then.

These two verses from 2 Chronicles 34:12 - 13 light up
   before me.

" The Levites - all who were skilled in playing musical
instruments - had charge of the laborers and supervised
all the workers from job to job. Some of the Levites were
secretaries, scribes and doorkeepers."   At this point, I
began to felt the Holy Spirit explaining to me in more
details about the meaning of the vision I saw.

THE INTERPRETATION   As the wind of the Holy Spirit began
to blow, the manifestation of this blowing will affect
many children of God. One of the change that we will see
will be in the area of WORK.   Many are waiting for God to
open wide the door of ministry to them this year, but
instead of that door, we will find another door being
  opened to us.

  THE ENEMY'S TACTIC

This door will come in the way that we are Not prepared for
or have perceive to be, for it will come in the form of
opportunities that will involved working in
secular jobs.   The enemy's tactic is to discouraged us
from taking on these jobs and will be presenting them as
obstacles, distractions and hindrances to our call. But
God never intent for it to be that way. Instead, many of
these opportunities are the road that will lead to the
destiny that the Lord has for us.   He then reminded me
about Moses, that before He send him to stand before
Pharaoh, he has to work as a farmer. Also, Joseph that
before he walked into the fullness of his destiny, has to
serve in prison and do other service. Furthermore, if we
observe the time of King Josiah, many of the Levites were
called to work as secretaries, scribes and doorkeepers (2
  Chronicles 34:12-13)

OUR RESPONSIBILITY   Our job at this point is to be
vigilant and prayerful. We must never judge by outward
appearance, and we have to remember that God's way are not
the same as men's way. Also, never measure the anointing
of God with the level of work presented before you. The
lower the position that these works will get in the world,
the higher will be the importance that God give to them.
For the lower the position, the more humility it will
  require.

GOD'S WORD   " My children, keep your eyes upon me. For
the changes that will come will astound many. Those who
are not seeking me continually and are watching with the
world's eyes will miss my way. But be like Elijah who
listen to that still small voice for I will not be in the
wind, I will not be in the earthquake, I will not be in
the fire, but I will come as a gentle whisper.  Do not be
deceived by the commotions taking place in the mountains.
For if you are not careful, these things can lead your away
from me.   Cling on to me, hold on to me. . .  seek me
daily for I am with you always.   Great works have been
accomplished in your lives and I am accomplishing more.
Watch and be alert."   This is the word of the Father to
   us this season.

PRAYER:   "Father, open our eyes to see your glory more
and more. Stilled our hearts that we will hear you
clearly. Thank you for your hands that is continually
guiding us day by day. Set a wall of fire of protection
over your people this day that no presumption, deception,
and confusion will be able to penetrate that wall around
us. We praise you and we come to you in your Son JESUS
most sweet and powerful name. Amen!!!"   May the Lord
bless each one to whom this message is intended.
