Heavenly Court in Session
April 15, 2000
WHAT'S TOOK PLACE
Last week, I received a letter from a friend informing me that he and his
family would be bringing their case before the King's court for resolution.
In this line he was calling on his spiritual family to join them if they felt
led by the Lord. He then informed us of the specific time and date for
their court meeting before the Great King and Judge.
As I was standing and praying with them on that day, in the spirit I felt
like I was inside an actual court setting. As I listened to the plaintiff
(my
friend) present his petitions before the King, I found myself saying, "Amen,"
to every point that he raised.
Many days following that time, I found myself being gently nudged to review
my own situations and prepare my own petition and to bring them before the
King for His resolution. I found myself remembering many events, not only in
my life, but even those that affected my family, our city and even our nation
being brought to mind. I began to notice that as I was remembering and
reviewing them and presenting my case point by point, I also sensed that a
heavenly secretary was taking notes of all that I was thinking in my mind
and speaking forth with my mouth as I could see scrolls being unrolled before
me.
What struck me was the freedom that I felt in speaking and presenting forth
my case. I could see the enemies from afar, but they were not allowed to
intrude while I was speaking. Words and pictures just flowed out freely as I
poured out myself before the Judge.
The whole process lasted for several days, and in the end I did find myself
physically drained out. Although I was feeling tired physically, I also sensed a
great release in my heart and spirit knowing that it wouldn't be long before
the King and Judge would give His decision concerning my case and the
judgment would be quickly carried out.
A GREATER APPLICATION
I felt the Lord impressing to me that what had just happened to us is
actually happening in a greater scale and that many of His children are feeling
the same way this season. In the coming days the Holy Spirit will
continue to bring back to our minds many events which have taken place in our
lives, even those around us that affect us. As we recall them, the
heavenly secretaries will be busy compiling them for us.
We must not be afraid to bring all these before the Lord as openly and
honestly as we can. Let us ask forgiveness when led to do so. Let us demand
compensation when led to do so. Just flow as the Holy Spirit will lead you
what to say and what to claim.
Many might feel hesitant to open up their memory banks, particularly those
events
that have been especially traumatic and painful, but the Lord is saying that
He has us covered and we will notice that the stings of the past will not be
there this time.
GOD IS FOR US
The Father knows that we stand before Him not on our own merit but because
of the Righteousness of Jesus in us and as such we are secure in our
position and the verdict is already known.
But all these need to be formalized even before the heavenly courts and this
is what is taking place this season.
THE PURPOSE FOR THESE
These acts are prophetic in nature. As we follow God's leading, in so
many ways this open the door for the actual release and manifestation in the
physical of all that has taken place in the Spiritual.
Like Zechariah, we are God's chosen High Priest. The enemy, in the past, has
been accusing us before the Father and even oppressing us in many ways.
The Father is putting an end to that vicious cycle and thus He has set His
Heavenly Court in Session, and all those who love Jesus are encouraged to
come boldly and to present their case before the Righteous Judge.
What the Father did for Zechariah in Chapter 3, He will be doing also for
us.
The Father will rebuke Satan and will affirm that we are His chosen ones.
( verse 2)
The Father will forgive us and take off all our filthy clothes and put rich
garments on us. ( verse 3-4)
The Father will give us charge over His house and His courts and will
establish our place among the chosen ones. (verse 7)
The Father will make us to be a blessing to our neighbors (verse 10)
THE FATHER'S PROMISES
Psalm 9: 7 - 10
The Lord reigns forever; He has established His throne for judgment. He
will judge the world in righteousness; He will govern the peoples with
justice. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of
trouble. Those who know your name will trust in You, for You, O Lord, have
never forsaken those who seek you.
Psalm 11:4
The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord is on His heavenly throne. He
observes the sons of men; His eyes examine them.
PRAYER
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for executing your judgment against our enemy and
for coming to our aid. Truly, soon we will taste and see of Your goodness.
In You we rest our case. Amen!!!
