For many days now, words and verses from the book of Isaiah has been reverberating in my mind. As I read them, they become alive and in my heart I sense an urgency. The Holy Spirit has impressed that the same events that God has declared to Isaiah are the very things that our Heavenly Father is doing and will continue to do in our midst. He challenges me to lift up my eyes and watch the nations. He gave me one word to focus upon and that was the word CONTROL. God is breaking down it's hold over nations and people.

Below are the various texts from the book of Isaiah that God has used to speak this message to my heart. It is from the New Living Translation. As we read them together, may the Holy Spirit quickens our hearts.

Isaiah 28:17 - " I will take the measuring line of justice and the plumbline of righteousness to check the foundation wall you have build. Your refuge looks strong, but since it is made of lies, a hailstorm will knock it down. Since it is made of deception, the enemy will come like a flood to sweep it away."

Isaiah 29:5, 6 - " . . . suddenly your ruthless enemies will be driven away like chaff before the wind. In an instant, I, the Lord Almighty, will come against them with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire."

Isaiah 29: 22-24 - " . . . . My people will no longer pale with fear or be ashamed. For when they see their many children and material blessings, they will recognize the holiness of the Holy One of Israel. They will stand in awe of the God of Israel. Those in error will then believe the truth, and those who constantly complain will accept instruction."

Isaiah 31:1-2 - " Destruction is certain for those . . .trusting their calvary and chariots instead of looking to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. In His wisdom, the Lord will send great disaster, He will not change His mind. He will rise against those who are wicked, and He will crush their allies too."

Isaiah 32:1, 5, 7-8 - " Look, a righteous king is coming! And honest princes will rule under him. In that day ungodly fools will not be heroes. Wealthy cheaters will not be respected as outstanding citizens. The smooth tricks of evil people will be exposed, including all the lies they use to oppress the poor in courts. But God's people will be generous to others and will be blessed for all they do."

Isaiah 52:5,6,10,15 - "... My Name is being blasphemed all day long. But I will reveal My Name to My people, and they will come to know it's power. Then at last, they will recognize that it is I who speaks to them. The Lord will demonstrate His holy power before the eyes of all nations. The ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. He will again startle or cleanse many nations. Kings will stand speechless in His Presence. For they will see what they had not previously been told about; they will understand what they had not heard about."

Isaiah 40:10 - " Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in all His glorious power. He will rule with awesome strenght. See He brings His reward with Him as He comes"

Many nations today are ruled by leaders who uses CONTROL to suppress the truth about God and this will come to an end. Like king Nebuchadnezzar of old (Daniel 4), the Lord will take away the control they hold over their countries and will replace them with leaders in the order of king Cyrus (Isaiah 45:13) and these leaders even if they are not believers will be use by God to fulfill His righteous purpose and carry out His plans.

Once again, it will be like during the times of Nehemiah, Daniel, Joseph where supernatural favor will be released to God's chosen ones for the work of the kingdom.

And leaders who continues to harden their hearts and stand in the way of God will suffer the same fate as king Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4) and the other kings who refused to harken to God's voice or that of His messengers.

Many has already heard this same message and this message is being released for the intercessors to press in for the victory is near at hand and for God's people to continue to hold on to the promises they have received from the Lord for their nations, families and even for themselves. God will surely bring them to pass, it will not be delayed.

This is addressed to us who hold holds power or control or authority over others. May it be our spouses, our children, our employees, our church members, our constituent or any person who comes in contact with us where we exercise measure of control.

We must be careful not to exercise oppression over those whom we have authority upon. As children of God, we are called to love. Many times out of desperation or desire to see things being accomplished in our midst, we IMPOSED OUR WILL upon those around us, instead of learning to ALLOW GOD TO WORK IN THEIR HEARTS.

We need to constantly remind ourselves that the Almighty Himself gives us that freedom, the freedom to choose, not out of volition but out of willingness to obey Him. We, His children specially must do nothing less.

God is merciful, He is faithful and He knows and understand all our good intentions. He is challenging us today to TRUST HIM TO FULFILL HIS PURPOSE FOR US AND NOT TO FORCE IT TO HAPPEN.

" May God be merciful and bless us. May His face shine with favor upon us. May Your ways be known throughout the earth, Your saving power among people everywhere. May the nations praise You, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise You. Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear Him."
