A New Anointing Of Boldness

July 11, 2000
Dear Saints of the Most High,

A NEW ANOINTING

The past few days I have sensed a new boldness rising within my heart as I began to
pray and remember the various needs around me. I was surprised by the new passion
and zeal that I felt rising up in me when I brought a petition before the King. Somehow
I felt that I'm not alone in this and was led to share this message with the body of Christ.
So if any of you happen to be led in the same manner, let us encourage one another
and praise God for His wonderful ways.

CONFIRMATIONS:

God began to bring back to my mind these verses and they have become very real to me
and have become my own battle cry in prayer most days. I became like the watchman in
Isaiah who would never give the Lord rest until He fulfills and establishes His promises to us.

I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes
Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)

Like Elisha , I cry to God in the same manner. Where then is the God of Miracles that I've read
about from the Bible? I want to see Him act on Behalf of His people NOW.

He (Elisha) picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and went back and stood on the
bank of the Jordan. Then he took the cloak that had fallen from him and struck the water with it.
' Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?' he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to
the right and to the left, and he crossed over. (2 Kings 2:13-14)

Like Jacob, as I wrestled with our God  in prayer, I will not let Him Go unless He blesses us and
comes to our aid and brings to fulfillment all that He has promised to do and to give to us.

Then the man said, ' Let me go, for it will be daybreak.'But Jacob replied, ' I will not let you go
unless you bless me.'" (Genesis 32:26)

THE MEANING OF ALL THIS

I felt that God is pouring on His body a  spirit of boldness and zealousness in prayer.  In the past, when
we pray, we might be led to end our prayer, "If it be thy will." But the time has come for us to  be bold in
staking our claim in prayers for the fulfillment of all the promises that God has given to us individually
and corporately.

I felt that the season of passiveness is over, and we need to "throw the ball" so to speak back to God's
court and not to be afraid to demand that God establishes His covenant with us and fulfills His promises to us.

THE ENEMY'S STRATEGY

The enemy will be exerting all efforts to discourage us from speaking in this manner and will attempt to
make us feel that these actions are prideful and our Heavenly Father will look down with disdain for us.

But this is a lie. . . . .

PRAYER

"Heavenly Father, You have called us to come boldly and enter into Your throne and lay our petitions before
You, and this is what we intend to do. We intend to bombard heaven with our prayers and petitions, the very
words, thoughts, impressions that You've been laying upon our hearts. This day, we ask that You begin to
bring all these into reality.

Summon Your power, O God, show us Your strength as You have done before. We want to see the God of
Moses who went before His people and opened the Red Sea for them. We want to see the God of Peter and
Paul, whose anointing was so strong that even Peter's  shadow brought healing to those that he passed by.

Arise, O God, and come to our rescue. Why should your children be trampled down by the enemy? You have
promised that we will be the head and not the tail. Come down from heaven and show us how You move on
behalf of Your children.

Father, the time is now. We can't wait much longer. Unless you come, many of Your children will not see light.
Come to our aid. Come for the sake of Your name. We speak these things standing on the righteousness that
is in Christ, and we are asking You to do these things for us in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!

Blessings to you all,
